Meet Alison

If you're not familiar with me yet, I’m Alison Ellis. I teach florists how to price with confidence and maximize their income!

I've been a floral designer for over 30 years and I love floral design. Just about every flower is “my favorite”.

But I learned early on that the “business stuff” is just as important as a designer’s eye and a master florist’s touch!

Because it takes a lot of time and effort to run a floristry business and if you’re not turning a profit, then you’re working for a hobby, not a business!

And a hobby can’t be relied upon to pay your bills or provide a reasonable salary that allows you to “quit your day job”.

Good news! It doesn’t have to be that way.

You don’t have to skip paychecks or reduce your prices to compete--even if you're just getting started.

You can turn a profit on every order you make and build a reputable brand that attracts awesome clients on any scale that works for you, whether you work from home, a shop, or still consider flowers to be your part-time gig, simply by following the proven industry pricing formulas...

I’ve been running my own small-scale home-studio business for over 20 years and I have always turned a profit in my business.

That's why I know you can feel confident in your pricing, gain authority and respect from clients, and create freedom in your small business, too.

If you have pricing questions for me, just get in touch! I'm here to support you before, during or after enrolling in a course with me!

xo. -Alison Ellis

Learn More About Flower Math

Earnings Disclaimer: Becoming a florist is not a "get rich" scheme and neither is my Flower Math program. Professional floristry requires hard work, building upon professional design skills, developing relationships in the community, providing value to clients, and serving others with excellence and integrity. By following the industry standard formulas as taught in Flower Math, florists routinely attain 70% profit margins on the cost of flowers and supplies, however, your total profits will be based on what you spend "above and beyond" the cost of flowers and supplies. Makes sense, right? Rent, utilities, taxes, employee payroll...that all comes out of the profit you make on flowers, supplies, and services you sell. As stipulated by law, Fresh Event Design, LLC can not and does not make any guarantees about your ability to earn any money with your business--your results in life are up to you. Always remember the Flower Math motto: It doesn't matter what you charge, if you overbuy! We feel transparency is important, and we hold ourselves (and you) to an incredibly high standard of integrity. That's why you can always contact Alison with any questions. Thanks for being here. Keep doing beautiful work.
